We Are Pilots

Damn, I’ve been blown away by an album I discovered by accident.

We Are Pilots by Shiny Toy Guns is so damn awesome and is now my current top album. For anyone who hasn’t heard of them or heard their music, its kind of Indie Disco kind of electronica stuff. It may sound trite to most, but it’s exactly the kind of upbeat music I need at the moment. You can listen to some songs on their myspace page, or go to the official website here, I’d reccomend you buy the album, if you like that kinda thing.

I have planned a small website design revamp, and since I’ve been neglecting my designing duties (too busy working) I will be trying to get some fresh pixel art up soon.

    Hey, if you are interested in pixel art, I think you should check Gary J. Lucken. I think what makes him intriguing is that his art is not pixelation for pixelation’s sake. He is obsessed with video games. I’ve written at length about him.

    Actually, as it goes, I have been a fan of his work for a long time. I did a college piece focussing on his work and own a LOT of magazines with him as a featured artist.
